GAVIN NIXON DO
Helping patients alleviate pain and achieve optimal functioning through a combination of interventional procedures, neuro-modulation, regenerative medicine, rehabilitation and pharmacologic means without chronic opioid use.
Dr. Nixon joined EMA as an interventional spine and musculoskeletal physician in August of 2023. He completed his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Louisiana State University in New Orleans and Fellowship training through Swedish Neuroscience Center in Seattle focusing on the diagnosis and non-surgical management of the spine.
Treatments offered focus upon minimally invasive procedures utilizing ultrasound and fluoroscopy to treat disorders of the spine and musculoskeletal system as well as a comprehensive rehabilitation approach including therapy prescription, medications when needed, and patient education. He also has a passion for spine fractures and specializes in vertebral augmentation in the spine due to painful compression fractures.
Dr. Nixon’s ultimate goal is to engage and participate in the healing and rehabilitation process by educating and providing patients with a well informed understanding of their disease process, guiding management decisions, and encouraging patients to play an active role in their return to a more functional and active lifestyle.
